Job Title – Account Handler
Accountable – To Management & Directors
Objectives – To represent Cleddau Insurance Services at a high level of service & professional standards at all times
Responsibilities & Typical Duties –
- Building and maintaining business relationships with clients.
- Discussing and assessing clients’ current and future insurance needs.
- Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers.
- Arranging insurance cover for clients with the insurance provider. Ø
- Collecting insurance premiums.
- Keeping records.
- Advising clients on making claims on their policies.
- Renewing or amending existing policies for clients.
- Undertaking general administrative duties.
Working Relationships – Part of a team working with sales & administration, claims & accounts.
Key Tasks – Servicing the requests of new & existing clients

- Accurately noting & using of software to record all conversations & policy details.

Job Title – Reception & Renewal Entry
Accountable To – Management & Directors
Objectives – To represent Cleddau Insurance Services at a high level of service / professional standards at all times.
Responsibilities & Typical Duties –
- First point of incoming contact (phone or in office).
- Referral of client to correct member of team.
- Monitoring & processing policy renewals.
- Building & maintaining business relationships with clients.
- Keeping records.
- Renewing policies for clients (after advisors dealt with clients).
- Undertaking general administrative duties.
Working Relationships – Part of a team working with sales & administration, claims & accounts.
Key Tasks –
- First point of contact.
- Renewal entry.
Key Result Areas –
- Accurately applying product knowledge process renewals & offer alternative policy.
- Accurately noting & using software to record all conversations & policy details.
